
What Flamingo 3 – An all Girls Skate Festival
The 3rd annual What Flamingo Festival takes place June 22 and June 23 and kicks off on “Go Skate” Day.
UPDATE: Due to the weather we are rescheduling Friday events to Sunday June 23, from 12-2pm.
June 22nd Schedule:
Skateboarding Skills Clinics at Huntington Hills Skatepark for women and girls of all ages.
10:00am -12:00pm: Beginner clinic, sponsored by Youth Brigade/The Park, with coaching by Brooke D’Hondt.
1:00pm-3:00pm – Intermediate and Street Skate Clinic with coaches Tom Nelner and Ben Zak.
June 23 Schedule, International “Go Skateboarding” Day:
Please join us for skate games, lots of prizes, and raffles from our sponsors. Open to women and girl skateboarders of all ages and abilities. NEW EVENT TIME: Sunday June 23, 12-2pm
Location: Matt Banister Memorial Skatepark, Hull Services, Main Campus at 2266 Woodpark Avenue S.W.
Parking at the Administration Building. Media will be present. Waivers must be signed. Helmets mandatory for all skaters.
All events are free of charge.
